Importance of KUL DEVI or KULDEVTA

One very big question I often face , WHY THERE ARE SO MANY DEITIES IN HINDUISM ,????
I am trying to answer, see as per vedic tradion there were only 33 koti devi devta .. not crores KOTI means TYPES (which I have discussed in earlier article).. but with the passage of time due to many incarnations and swroops of Maa shakti various deities were being worshipped to get both materialistic or non materialistic things..
Kuldevta/devi means the god(dess) of the ‘Kul’ or family lineage. These are usually temples where the family has been worshipping God for generations, and can trace their history to it being their main temple. Valmiki Ramayan, in the Uttar Kand, refers to the Lord Ranganatha as the Kuldeva of the Ikshvaku family to whom Rama belonged. But the very Uttarkand is an interpolation of much later days. Meghnad did yagna to appease #KULDEVI but he couldnot succed , even Ravan was very much aware of the significance of #KULDEVI #SIDHI so he directed Meghnad to perfoms the rituals. I feel the role of Kuldevi or deity becomes crucial whn doing #SHAKTIPAT , very often so called practioners don’t understand this and charge huge money from innocent people. Moreover I have experienced that the people don’t know even the names of their GRAM or KUL DEVTA ,,, may be due to the rapid CHANGE ON OUR LIFE STYLE and URBANISATION, if the sanatan padhti is followed properly and the deities are given due consideration thee will be very less effect of NASHTRAs or Planertary motion (sadhe sati,,, etc).. Its my personal observation.
