JUST THINKING ALL THE DEVOTEES DOING ‘KAR SEWA’ FOR CLEANING , MOTHER RIVER
GANGA  is the most prestigious river in the country which 1 billion people respect but we are unable to protect it. Let us try to make the mechanism as strong and effective as possible. The National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG), which is executing the mission on behalf of the ministry, has sanctioned 97 sewerage infrastructure projects at a cost of Rs 141.2 million to abate pollution in the 2,525-km long river. Kumbh started on January 15, 2019, and is set to go on till March 4, 2019. The ‘shahi snan’ falls on February 4, 9, 10 and March 4, besides January 15 and January 21, 2019.the public awareness about the cleaniness and the importance in environmental pont of view is scarce in INDIA ..
The Uttar Pradesh (UP) government is being praised for making river Ganga’s water ‘clean’ for the ongoing Ardh Kumbh. But why can’t the same effort me made across the year, or every year during the same season?Kumbh Mela, one of the largest religious mass gathering events in the world, has deteriorated the quality of water in rivers by increasing its bacterial load more than  100 times, finds a recent study by the National Centre for Cell Science (NCCS) in Pune in the year 2015, NEED OF THE HOUR IS TO DUCATE THE MASS ABOUT THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS of these types of public gatherings.
