GAYTRI MANTRA AND THE RELEVANCE in SANATANA YOG PADHTI

ADESH ADESH !!
The Gāyatrī Mantra, also known as the Sāvitrī mantra, is a highly revered mantra from the Rig Veda (Mandala 3.62.10), dedicated to Savitr, the sun deity. Gāyatrī is the name of the Vedic meter in which the verse is composed... its :
The Gāyatrī Mantra is a highly revered mantra from the Vedas. The Gayatri mantra is one of the oldest and most powerful of Sanskrit mantras.
The Mahaa Naarayana Upanishad lists many Gayathri mantras. It is generally understood that the traditional prayer of a particular diety is not complete without the recitation of the Gayathri of that deity. Gayatri mantra was kept secret for many ages by our Rishis and as to have sanctity of the vaedic to be maintained. There are many types of gayatri mantra which are used in different occasions and sadhna. Mantra mentioned above is for only general prayers and is very suitable for children and students. In Yog padhatis we have aleel gayatri, #aghora gayatri, samdh gayatri and many more..
SHRIMAD DEVI BHAGWAT PURAN GODDESS GAYATRI IS ULTIMATE REALITY AND EXIST IN 24 FORMS.. Sanatana Bharata
Those to be practiced under supervision of a learned master only as the yogic kriyas are to accompanied with the mantras ..In some puranas, Gayatri is said to be the other names of Sarasvati, the wife of Brahma According to Matsya Purana, Brahma's left half emerged as a female, who is celebrated under the names of Sarasvati, Savitri and Gayatri. In Kurma #Purana, Gautama rishi was blessed by Goddess Gayatri and able to eliminate the obstacles he faced in his life. Skanda Purana tells that Gayatri is the wife of Brahma.. Gayatri further developed into a fierce goddess who could even slay a demon. According to Varaha Purana and Mahabharata, Goddess Gayatri slayed the demon Vetrasura, the son of Vritra and river Vetravati, on a Navami day
#Spiritual people need to understand the importance of purity of mantras and their methodology so as to have maximum benefits .. . #yog #yognidra #shwasnidra #Himalayas #yogini #nath #shakti #energy #peace #solitude #karma #shimla Adesh Adesh !!!

NTAYASHSTRA and LAYA YOGA

adesh adesh !!
After the Samaveda that dealt with ritual utterances of the Vedas, the ‘‘Natya Shastra’’ is the first major text that deals with music at length. The text is in the form of a loose dialog between Bharata and a number of munis who approach him, asking about nāṭyaveda (lit. nāṭya=drama, performance; veda=knowledge) so the NATYA is also a form pure knowledge as most of the sages agree..The creation by Brahma of natyaveda is associated myth about a fifth veda..But no doubt the Natya and Laya are associated.. #Laya yoga is als one of the prominent feature in YOGA and SPIRITUALITY.... Lord shiva in the form  of NATRAJA is the best example one can site.. Importantly nateshewari naths is one of the sects of twelve in nath yoga sampraday.12 sects are Nateshwari, Ganganath, Kaplani, Bairag, Sathyanath, Ayi, Dharmanath, Ramanath, Kanhadi, Maan Nath, Pagal and Dwaja.

Some historian have belief the SHASTRA was written 500 BC by Bharata Muni. Comprising 6000 couplets in Sanskrit and spread over thirty-six chapters, Natyashastra’s focus was on dance and drama, with music as an aid. Natya refers to technique of dance and drama, and shastra refers to #science. If we see deeply, Natyashastra, eight fundamental feelings, instincts, emotions or mental states called bhava or sthayibhava can be distinguished in the human #soul : Delight (rati), Laughter (hasa), Sorrow (soka). Anger (krodha), Heroism (utsaha). Fear (bhaya ), Disgust ( jugupsa ), and Wonder ( vismaya ). These eight states are inborn in man’s heart. They permanently exist in the mind of every man, in the form of latent impressions derived from actual experiences in the present life or inherited instincts, and, as such, they are ready to emerge consciousness on any occasion. The consciousness is thus important which is really the base of human behavioural expectation towards spirituality
A prominent Sanskrit scholar Abhinavagupta, had a view that the performance arts in Natyasastra, temporarily suspends man from his ordinary world, transfers him into another parallel reality full of wonder, where he experiences and reflects on spiritual and moral concepts, and in there is the power of arts to transform the inner state of man, where the beauty of the art lifts him into the goals of #Dharma.. yog  #yognidra #shwasnidra  #Himalayas #yogini #nath  #shakti  #energy #peace  #solitude #karma #shimla  Adesh Adesh !!!

UPANISHADS and the concept of SHRUTI-SMRITI

ADESH ADESH !!
The word 'upanishad' is derived from a combination of three words, namely upa+ni+sad. 'Upa' means near, 'ni' means down and 'sad' means to sit. The original Upanishads are the end portions of the four Vedas, and there by came to be identified with "Vedanta", which literally means the end of the Vedas. They dealt with the philosophical aspects of the Vedas and were taught in ancient India to highly qualified and selected individuals only.
The Upanishadic texts are part of the SHRUTI literature and are considered to be divine in origin. They are associated with the names of several ancient seers. Some of these lived many generations before Lord Krishna and Mahabharata war. Here its very noteworthy that the most of the knowledge of the seers were transferred only in the form of SHRUTI-SMRITI, NOW IT IS VERY IMPRTANT TO UNDERSTAND HE AND WHY THE CONCEPT OF “SHRUTI-SMRITI” WAS FORMULATED IN MOST OF THE YOGIC PRACTICES.. its clear the knowledge and its aspects depnds on the level of perception and mental set up of the practitioner, different people may find different levels of understandings and views on the same TEXT OR SHALOKA.... so in my opinion the secretive and truthful knowledge was given to only intellectual with better understanding.
It may be one odf the reason that exact number of the Upanishads is not clearly known. Scholars differ on the total number of Upanishads as well as on what constitutes an Upanishad...still these form an integral part of the spiritual studies not only for particular sect or faith but for whole humanity
