'Turiya' in Sanskrit means ' the fourth' or ' chaturtha', which is ' pure consciousness' , a ' superconscious experience' full of ecstasy.Turiya pervades the three common states of consciousness, which are as following :Waking state, Dreaming state and Dreaml ess deep sleep. In Advaita Vedanta , it is Jagrat, Swapna and Sushupti avastha respectively which are empirically experienced by human beings.

Advaita also poists the fourth state of ' turiya' which some describe as ' pure consciousness'. This is the state of liberation where one experiences the infinite ' ananda' and non- different ( Advaita).This state is measureless, neither cause nor effect, all pervading, without suffering, blissful, self - luminous and changeless.

Turiya is also discussed in verse 7 of the Mandukya Upnishad .

In Kashmir Shaivism, they also speak about the fifth state of consciousness called ' Turiyatita' ___ the state beyond Turiya. Turiyatita, also called the void or ' #shunya' , is the state where in attains liberation, otherwise, known as ' jivanmukti' or ' moksha'.

Adesh Adesh!! Although, there is no clear cut scientific support for the Hindu theory of world cycles. Further, current scientific theory contradicts Hindu theory in many respects and moreover the Hinduism also have different faiths in the time line and the origin of universe.. I am just trying to explain the widely accepted views... as the concept of evolution is confined to spiritual evolution; that is, each soul takes life in a series of lower to higher animal forms before finally incarnating as a human being so difference of opinion is more likely with the present science The entire duration of the universe is equal to Brahma’s lifespan of 100 years: 311 trillion 40 billion years. One day of Brahma (kalp) lasts a thousand cycles of the four ages (mahā yug) and his night also extends for the same span of time. The wise who know this understand the reality about day and night. One year of the celestial gods, consisting of 30 × 12 days is equal to 360 years on the earth plane. 12,000 years of the celestial gods correspond to one mahā yug (cycle of four yugas) on the earth plane, i.e. 4 million and 320 thousand years. 1,000 such mahā yugas comprise one day of Brahma. This is called kalp and is the largest unit of time in the world. Equal to that is Brahma’s night. By these calculations, Brahma lives for 100 years. By earth calculations, it is 311 trillion 40 billion years.

 मंडल एकाग्रता में सुधार का एक उद्देश्य है  रंग और बनावट  समान -भिन्न हो सकती है, इसलिए आमतौर पर यह ऊर्जा के उच्च स्तर के किसी भी देवता को दर्शाता है। इसलिए योगाभ्यास में समान रूप से इस्तेमाल किए जाने वाले मंडल में प्रबुद्ध प्राणियों की छवियां, और संयोजन या एकल इत्यादि होती है।

The word ‘mandala’ means ‘circle’ or ‘center’. Mandala is an object of concentration may be similar to #yantra with varies color and texture usually  therefore it usually depicts any deity of higher stage of energy . Therefore mandala in equally used in yogic practices there are images of enlightened beings, and combination or single so on. These have  images of aspects of the awakened mind, and are used in practices that help our mind to tune to the same qualities. THESE MANDALAS CAN BE ENRGISED USING SPECIFIC MANTRAS AND SMALL PROCEDURES so the sadhka gets more benefits..

The instructions on the practice of Vajrayoginī contain concise and clearly presented meditations that are relatively easy to practice and the visualizations of the maṇḍala, Vajrayogini Temple is a Tantric temple located at Sankhu in Nepal's Kathmandu Valley. Vajrayogini is a Buddhist tantric deity, she is also conflated with Ugra form of shakti, in Buddist tantra, However, the temple is sacred to both #Buddhists and #Hindus. Sacred circles of a mandala have a magical healing power, which can have a recuperative effect.Tool in spirituality as well in meditation practice.
