ESSENCE of DHARMA...

ADESH ADESH!!
Very often I see conflict between two terms RELIGION and SPIRITUALITY...I don’t want to elaborate. But want to put forward views on DHARMA
Dharma is often translated as “duty,” “religion” or “religious duty” and yet its meaning is more profound, defying concise English translation. The word itself comes from the Sanskrit root “dhri,” which means “to sustain.” “Dharma is sometimes translated as ‘religion’ but that is not exactly the meaning. Dharma actually means ‘that which one cannot give up’ and ‘that which is inseparable from oneself’.

The essence of Dharma is cultivation of the mind because all negative and positive karmas of body and speech originate in and are given direction by the mind.lf we are unable to cultivate an awareness of our mental processes and ability to cut off negative streams of thought as they arise, twenty years of meditation in a remote cave will be of little value. It's like a bears hibernation. Before looking for a cave, we should look for good qualities in our mind and develop the ability to live in accordance with Dharma. I am not talking about , HINDU, MUSLIM,OR ANY OTHER RELIGION... ..(thanks Ms Diksha Tiwana for brilliant idea)
Few lines about #sanatan #dharamSanatana Dharma is by its very essence a term that is devoid of sectarian leanings or ideological divisions. This is evident by the very term itself. The two words, "Sanatana Dharma", come from the ancient Sanskrit language. "Sanatana" is a Sanskrit word that denotes that which which is Anadi (beginningless), Anantha (endless) and does not cease to be, that which is eternal and everlasting. With its rich connotations, Dharma is not translatable to any other language. Dharma is from dhri, WHICH ALSO meaning to hold together, to sustain. Its approximate meaning is "Natural Law," or those principles of reality which are inherent in the very nature and design of the universe. Thus the term Sanatana Dharma can be roughly translated to mean "the natural, ancient and eternal way."....
If we respect NATURE MORE SPECIFIVCLLY , ‘’MOTHER NATURE” THEN .. OUR MOTHER WILL PROTECT AND MAKE OUR LIFE MORE SUSTAINABLE.... ADESH ADESH!!
