SHIVA-SHAKTI ... As Guru-Shishya Prampara

ADESH ADESH !!!
Lord Shiva took on the role of Adi Guru in order to reveal the reality of entire creation and the first Shishya became Ma Parvati. This is when Guru Shishya relationship started..Lord Shiva upgraded His Shishya Parvati's consciousness through the process called Shaktipat. Devi Parvati agreed to the conditions imposed by Lord Shiva and pleaded To be accepted as His disciple. Lord Shiva agreed to do so. Thanks, Matashree

for valuable contribution.
Within the broad spectrum of the Hindu religion , the Guru _ Shishya relationship can be found in numerous variant forms including Tantra. A formal recognition of this relationship , generally in a structured initiation ceremony where the Guru accepts the ' initiate' as ' shishya' and also accepts responsibility for the spiritual well- being and progress of the new '. shishya'.
Sometimes this initiation process includes the conveying of specific esoteric wisdom or meditation techniques. In chapter 36 of Sri Tantraloka, Abhinavgupt describes in detail how the Guru - Shishya transmission takes place. Abhinavgupt succinctly lays down the aim of his Shastra __' the removal of veil of ignorance'.
Vedanta and Shaivism profess the same aim. In Vedanta , the negation of the facts of experience are a must pre supposition for realisation of the Self . But in #Trika, there is no negative approach towards the universe but infact an affirmation of the facts of experience with new interpretation.
With this positive understanding of the environs, the ' realizer' is simply face to face with Self Recognition which in Shaiva terminology is called Self Realization.
